When the grid power is disconnected, the smart battery starts discharging at a constant 54V.

When the smart battery reaches 90% DOD (10% SOC), its output voltage drops to 45V, and the classic battery or lead-acid battery starts discharging.

When the classic battery voltage drops to 45V, the smart battery and other batteries discharge together until reaching the 40.5V protection voltage.
